Get a ringside seat at the first live recording of Louisville native Evan Roth’s highly respected podcast, Breaking the Mold. Evan has invited his brother Daniel Roth, Executive Editor of LinkedIn, to guest co-host the podcast. Together, these native Kentuckians will interview former U of L – NBA basketball star and Kentucky entrepreneur Junior Bridgeman, who has recently made headlines as one of the most successful retired athletes in America. A Q&A will follow. Daniel Roth, Executive Editor of LinkedIn, is hailed by Business Insider as the "most powerful business journalist on the Internet." He wrote and shaped countless features with trademark wit and flair including: a rare joint interview with Warren Buffett and Bill Gates, another with Donald Trump as they traveled cross country in his jet as he searched for the perfect moldings for his ballroom, and also one with Gwen Stefani. Evan Roth turned his youthful obsession with numbers into a career in finance, first at Goldman, Sachs & Co., followed by Global Asset Management. In 2000, he went entrepreneurial and started his own firm BBR Partners, where he works with multigenerational families and individuals and their newly created wealth to define and translate values into a comprehensive, sophisticated investment program. The event will be Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the Henry Clay Building (604 S. 3rd St.). The reception starts at 5:30 and program at 6:30. Tickets are $25 and include appetizers by Wiltshire Pantry. There will also be a cash bar. Order tickets online at www.kentuckytotheworld.org. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
