It all started with an idea, and it catalyzed with enthusiasm. The Root is a place for inclusion, collaboration, and innovation. It’s where locals are celebrated and stories are heard. Heart Behind The Art, held at The Root, is art in all aspects – from visual to culinary and everything in between. The first event, featuring a pop-up art gallery, live musical performance, and food tasting is not only a way for visitors to experience local art and culture, but give the artists a platform to share the reason for creating their art in the first place. For future events, we’re looking to showcase different types of artists and their multitude of mediums.
