Lean Startup Training for Start-ups and Early Stage Companies

  • Prime your business for product launch and/or investment
  • Prepare an investor- or consumer-oriented pitch
  • Intensive 10-week course with coaching
  • Understand the value of a Minimal Viable Product
  • Validate your market prior to launch

The Lean LaunchPad Approach

Entrepreneurs will utilize the Lean LaunchPad methodology and the Business Model Canvas to brainstorm nine building blocks that constitute their businesses.  They’ll practice evidence-based entrepreneurship as they learn how to use a business model to brainstorm each part of a company and customer development to get out of the classroom to validate customer interest. Finally, based on the customer and market feedback gathered, they will use agile development to rapidly iterate their product or concept to build/design something customers will actually buy and use.

Expected Deliverables: validated market, validated business model, investor- or consumer-oriented pitch deck, refined elevator pitch

Who Should Attend

  • Startups and early stage companies of all kinds
  • Established companies planning to launch a new product or initiative

Expectations

  • Entrepreneurs should expect to spend about 30 minutes each week listening to the Steve Blank Udacity course “How to Build a Startup” (https://www.udacity.com/course/ep245)

  • Entrepreneurs should be ready to present their updated Business Model Canvas to the group, every second or third meeting.
