On Wednesday, June 6, Venture Connectors will host fashion, fitness and travel blogger Grace Wainwright of A Southern Drawl, www.asoutherndrawl.com. Wainwright will share the story behind her success as a social influencer, which now includes 174,000+ followers on Instagram (@a_southerndrawl). Her style tips center on timeless and affordable staples with a feminine twist, and she is never afraid to try (or start) a new trend. Click here to register. Wainwright started her blog in 2011 when she was a student at the University of Louisville, eventually graduating with a master’s degree in bioengineering. The blog served as a much-needed outlet for her creativity, so she chose to become a full-time blogger in 2015. She launched a new Instagram fitness account (@FitWithASD) in January 2018, where she shares her current workout routines and all things fitness. The new page already has more than 22,000 followers. Venture Connectors' luncheons are held on the first Wednesday of the month. RSVPs are required. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., and the meeting runs from noon-1:15 p.m. The lunch is free to members and $40 for nonmembers. Click here to register. Five-minute presentations by entrepreneurs interested in obtaining capital to start up or support growth and expansion of their businesses.
A guest speaker with an entrepreneurial success stories or one who discusses venture or financing issues or trends affecting today’s entrepreneurial climate.

Membership is open to business professionals, venture capitalists, private investors, attorneys, accountants, consultants, and students who are involved in the entrepreneurial community. We offer Corporate Memberships, Full Memberships and Associate Memberships.
